Nonchalant Repartee

For legal purposes teachers names have been omitted so at times sentences may be annoying.

Last Thursday we had Year 11 Info Tech and all the year 11's had left due to exams being finished so we had no work at all to do. There were about 4 of us in the class and some other class had decided to use the computer room we were in. Our teacher left us supervised by the other one who had booked the class and went off to do whatever. So we started playing Quake and we played for about 30 mins before the other teacher finally realised and said "I don't think that's what your teacher would want you doing. You should be doing your work." so I said to him "We don't have any work" so he goes and gets our teacher who comes over to me and Cabel then says "If you don't get off that in 10 seconds you will have your accounts disabled." being the cool dudes that we are we got off it straight away.

I went into Photoshop and screwed around for a couple mins. Bucci wanted some files from me so I start copying those accross to him and then (This is like 20 mins after he told us to get off Quake) our teacher goes to me and Cabel "I WANT YOU IN HERE NOW!!" so I take out my flash drive so nobody steals it while im in his office and he's like "WHAT PART OF NOW DIDN'T YOU UNDERSTAND" then he was just yelling at us "THE COLLEGE NETWORK IS FOR SCHOOL USE ONLY, SCHOOL USE ONLY, IF YOU MISSED THAT THE COLLEGE NETWORK IS FOR SCHOOL USE ONLY. Your accounts have been disabled for 2 weeks, I will look through your folders for anything that will allow you to play games and you must sit in the center of the room and don't touch anything.".

The strangest thing about it is that we did exactly what he told us and we still got in trouble. It's as though we went back to playing the games or something. Anyhow on Friday we went and saw the other IT teacher who unbanned us and told us that she found Liero in both our accounts. I didn't have Liero anywhere on my account which I found strange she found it on mine so I enquired about this and she said that she deleted it from mine. I know Cabel had it in his, maybe she got it confused. Oh well. She gave us a talk about how the drive space on the network isn't great and that our crap takes up too much room and that VCE students can't save their work and such. It's odd that a 6mb game bothers them when Matt H (not you matt, the other one) has hundreds of funny movies and shit stored on his folder. It also makes me wonder why the school have an 80gb hard drive for their user storage. You can get much larger drives for very cheap prices nowadays. They are using an external firewire drive for backups rather than tape now (Not sure if this is good or bad).

So yea, we got our accounts disabled for 2 weeks for no reason then re-enabled the next day.

This is by far the worst movie I have seen this year.
Now you may disagree with me on this one and i'm fine with that, just remember that you're wrong.

In the first 40 minutes of the movie nothing happened. Except that Anakin was talked into going to the dark side in 5 minutes after having a 5 second dream about Pademe dying and then threw away 5 years of Jedi training to kill another Jedi for the same reason of the 5 second dream.

This movie had terrible acting. The characters were almost as wooden as the cheesy dialogue which made little to no sense at times. The script writer must've been smoking bad shit. There are way too many special effects in this movie, come to think of it I think every scene had them. I don't know how they managed to do it but they made the fight scenes boring as hell.

When Anakin got burnt by the lava there was no way he could've survived. Do you really expect us to believe that someone who was covered in lava was just going to just sit there on fire for 30 minutes rather than melt out of existance? Get real! So what if he's a Jedi no way he can survive being covered in lava, he's still only human (or not so much human as he is in a galaxy far far away....)

To those who think Jar-Jar spoke, you are also wrong. He just appeared for half a second at the funeral of Pademe and didn't do much except walk forward a few steps.

For anyone who hasn't seen the movie yet, i've pretty much spoiled it for you in this short review so don't bother seeing it now. It sucks. I've just saved you 2 hours and $9.

I give this movie a 4/10.
This movie made me realise how much Star Wars has gone down hill since episode 1.
